Submitting documents to the Digital Drop Box
Students can upload any type of documents to the Blackboard Learning System using the Digital Brop Box. However, some instructors do not use this feature so the students should use this feature to submit papers only when recommended by the instructor of that course.
To upload a paper or other documents follow these steps:
- Login to Blackboard 6.1
- Click the link for the course where you want to submit the paper. This will open the course Web site.

- On the Navigation bar, click on Tools located on the left side of the screen. This will display the different tools.
- Click on the Digital Drop Box link.

- You have two options here 1) Add File 2) Send File.
Use Add File only to upload a document for later reference. This will not send the document to the insctuctor.
To send file to the Instructor click Send File button to open a new screen.

- Type the title of the document in the title bar and click browse button to open a Choose file window.

- From the Choose file window, select the document you want to submit.
- press Open button at the bottom right of the window.

- The document will appear in the File bar. Check to see if you have selected the correct document.
- Click Submit button to submit the document.
- When you click submit button a confirmation screen opens and displays the following message:
You have sucessfully submittted a document through the Blackboard Digital Drop Box.
